An NHS drop in clinic has been sited in one of Reading’s largest shopping centers. The shop unit which now houses the new facilities did not have sufficient drainage possibilities. The Sanicompact toilet has become an essential addition to one RNLI look-out station at St Albans Head in Dorset. Due to its position, the station could not access a mains water supply and up until that point had resorted to using a camping chemical toilet. The Saniflo addition has now meant that a water harvesting system can be utilised in which rain water is fed into the unit via a booster pump. More »

Seventeen Sanispeed units have been installed at the new Cardiff City Stadium, home to both Cardiff FC and the Cardiff Blues rugby team. The Saniflo units overcame the stadium’s awkward placing of bars and food stands, which were located where low-ground drainage was not accessible. More »

Brian Pulfer has been a Service Engineer for over twenty years. He grew up in Nottinghamshire where he did his plumbing apprenticeship with a company called SJ Farmer who were mainly involved in fitting industrial plumbing and heating systems. Brian qualified in 1967 with a City and Guilds qualification in Heating and Ventilation and stayed with SJ Farmer for 10 years before setting up on his own. More »
Scottish Builder Stuart McCrae realized that in order to maximize space in his barn conversion he needed to locate the kitchen in the basement. Had there been no alternative to traditional gravity plumbing this would have meant digging up the concrete floor in the garage in order to connect to the soil stack. Hartcliffe Health and Environment Action Group is an established local community group that supports a range of projects in South Bristol with the aim of improving the lives of local people by actively engaging residents in both health related and environmental projects. Their vision is for local people to receive the same opportunity as all other communities to live fulfilled, healthy and happy lives in a cared for environment. As part of these objectives kitchen facilities were installed to help local people improve their health by developing skills in nutrition and cooking. The project would have been blighted had a cost effective alternative not been available to overcome the limitations of traditional gravity drainage.
